  Thierry

  For Thierry Réunion is his main playground and backdrop to his many sporting achievements. He has participated in the Grand Raid de la Réunion several times, adding his name to the list of winners of the event in 2007. In 2016, he finished the Transpyrénéa, an 865 km race with 65,000 m of elevation gain! Thierry holds a Mountain Accompanist diploma and loves to share his love of the mountains with everyone, from first time hikers to experienced trekkers. With his vast mountain experience, Thierry can advise you on all types of adventures regardless of your level.

  Jessica

  Inspired by beautiful stories of her grandmother and her roots coupled with the many colours and flavours of the islands of the Indian Ocean, Jessica never stops exploring new places and discovering new cultures. Two of her greatest achievements are earning a higher degree in Business Management and helping to create a music school in Mayotte which now has hundreds of active members. Since moving to Réunion Island she has completed a Mountain Accompaniment diploma and joined our team. Her bountiful attention to the quality our customer relations and love for Réunion are contagious.

  Matthieu

  Matthieu is passionate about exploring underground! Helmet and headtorch on, journey underground with him to discover a lesser known side of Réunion Island, its secret maze of lava tunnels. This hidden environment never ceases to amaze, prepare to be surprised as you explore every nook and cranny of various bizarre forms sculpted by the cooling lava. This unique experience, enriched by Matthieus knowledge and anecdotes makes for an unforgettable experience with Altaï Réunion.

  Antoine

  Antoine has a degree in history and geography; his love for sporting activities and the island of Réunion led him to quit his former job as a teacher to become a mountain guide. For this transition we are eternally grateful as Antoine is one of our pillars here at Altaï Réunion. His attentive nature and tranquility ensure the smooth running or our circuits.
